Who Are we?

Tanzania Dadas’ Rise Coalition

TDRC is a space for young women leaders between the age of 18 - 35, which seeks to empower budding heads of women’s rights/girls’ rights organizations to effectively engage in the feminist movement in Tanzania.

Our Vision

A generation of young women leaders who lead boldly and collectively.

Our Mission

To sustain young women leaders’ movement through enhancing community of support, connecting with resources and bridging generational gap.

Our Values

TDRC Values serve as foundational principles that shape the organization's identity, guides our actions, and define our purpose. Providing us with a clear framework that aligns everyone within the organization around a common purpose and ethical standard, ensuring that our decisions and behaviors reflect our core beliefs.

Sisterhood is the bond that unites us as a community of women, standing together to champion each other’s voices, rights, and aspirations. In our organization, sisterhood means fostering a supportive and empowering environment where every woman feels valued, heard, and uplifted.

It is the foundation of trust and solidarity that allows us to collaborate, inspire, and learn from each other, creating a powerful network of mutual strength and resilience. Through sisterhood, we break down barriers, celebrate each other's successes, and work hand-in-hand toward a shared vision of equality and leadership for all women.

Solidarity is the backbone of our commitment to advancing women’s leadership and rights. It is the principle of standing united in purpose and action, knowing that our strength lies in collective effort. Solidarity calls us to support one another unconditionally, especially in the face of challenges, and to amplify the voices of all women, regardless of background or circumstance.

By fostering a culture of solidarity, we create a network of allies who work together to dismantle barriers, fight injustices, and drive systemic change, knowing that each individual’s progress uplifts us all. Through this shared commitment, we work to build a world where every woman can lead, thrive, and live with dignity.

Shared Learning is the foundation of growth, innovation, and resilience within our organization, fueling our mission to empower women’s leadership and rights. We believe that knowledge is most powerful when exchanged openly, allowing diverse experiences, skills, and insights to shape our collective journey. Through shared learning, we foster an environment where women can teach and learn from each other, enhancing skills, expanding perspectives, and strengthening the community.

It promotes continuous growth, encouraging us to challenge norms, adapt to change, and apply new ideas that drive impactful change. Embracing shared learning, we create a legacy of wisdom, empowerment, and inspiration that sustains our mission and amplifies each woman’s potential.
