The Tanzania Development and Rights Coalition (TDRC) is a dynamic space dedicated to empowering young women leaders aged 18 to 35. By fostering a strong foundation for those leading women’s and girls’ rights initiatives, TDRC equips emerging leaders with the skills, knowledge, and resources necessary to drive meaningful change.
Our mission is to empower young women to confidently and effectively participate in the feminist movement in Tanzania, advocating for gender equality, social justice, and the upliftment of women across communities. Through training, mentorship, and community-building, TDRC provides a supportive network where young leaders can collaborate, share insights, and amplify their voices. We believe that by investing in the leadership potential of young women today, we are building a stronger, more equitable future for generations to come.

The Tanzania Dadas' Rise Coalition has successfully completed programs focused on empowering women through skills training, mentorship, and advocacy. These initiatives have created opportunities for women to grow, lead, and drive positive change in their communities.
The Dada’s Rise Coalition participated in a press conference held at the offices of Msichana Initiative to oppose Section 10b, which was deemed harmful to the rights and well-being of women and girls in Tanzania. This section posed a significant barrier to efforts aimed at achieving gender equality and protecting women's rights.
